Frosting

When I am making a cake to take somewhere this is the only frosting I will use. I also use this on my sugar cookies and I think this makes them even better. Very easy to make.

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbl. milk (for thickness)

Mix butter and shortening until smooth. Add vanilla and sugar one cup at a time. Add milk for desired thickness.
